Where does the data come from?

Every morning we pull public information from the Steam store. Prices are recorded whenever they change, which powers the "tracked low" badge. Prices shown are from the US Steam store (USD) and may differ in your region — always check the store before buying.

How is the GamePickHub score calculated?

It starts from the share of positive Steam reviews. To keep games with only a handful of reviews from scoring 100, scores with few reviews are pulled toward 70 (a Bayesian average). If a Metacritic score exists, it counts for 30%.

Who writes the pros and cons?

They are generated from each game’s data with fixed rules — ratings, language support, co-op and controller support, price and minimum specs. For example, a game without English support gets that listed as a con.

How is the player review analysis made?

For each game we read dozens of public Steam Community reviews in English, Korean, Japanese and Chinese, and count how often topics like story, graphics, performance and price come up in recommending and non-recommending reviews. We don’t store review text — only a one-sentence quote with a link to the original. Reviews with profanity or slurs are never quoted.

Who runs GamePickHub?

GamePickHub is run by an individual who loves games. Checking discounts, language support, ratings and specs on separate pages every time we picked a Steam game got tedious, so we built one place that shows all of it together.

What makes it different?

Every game shows whether it supports your language, with subtitles or full voice acting, and you can filter for games playable in your language. Instead of simply copying Steam ratings, we calculate our own GamePickHub score that accounts for review volume, and a review analysis that counts which topics players bring up most. We also write practical guides on sale seasons, refund rules and choosing games for low-end PCs.

How often is it updated?

Prices, deals, charts and rating summaries refresh every morning. Descriptions and review analysis are heavier, so they are refreshed in order of popularity: games on the deals or new release lists are rechecked weekly, and the rest every three weeks.
